Fully Automated Gate for Mihiripenna instead of Manual Gate
An automated gate is introduced for Talpe Mihiripenna in Habaraduwa division in Galle district instead of prevailing manual gate. It is a joint research project collaboration with the faculty of engineering, university of Ruhuna. Positive attitude of the Minister and secretary of ministry of Agri & Irrigation in southern provincial council is a blessing of realizing this innovation
Attempting a Local production of aquatic weeder as an innovation
Wondering about the best ways to get rid of and control aquatic reservoirs & canal weeds on irrigation schemes. Largest selection of products and solutions in the foreign market. Such machines have to be imported and are much expensive. Still they are not available in local market.
It is being launched as a joint research project with the faculty of engineering, university of Ruhuna.
